There are many places around the oceans of the world where Great White sharks and Killer(?) whales share the waters. Who would win if they met up for fisticuffs and why?

It's just always intrigued me. . .

Maybe they are bright enough to know better than to try and figure that one out.

Sharks aren't all that stupid... they try to avoid large prey that can fight back. A shark would only attack an orca if it were already injured. The blood and stuff in the water would drive the shark mad, and compel it to attack.

Long time since this was posted, but an orca has been videotaped fighting and killing a Great White shark. I think it took a few nibbles out of the shark as well.

Because a shark would avoid an orca, but an orca won't necessarily avoid a shark... especially with a pup in tow. Family ties and all that.

Depends if there was more than one shark and/or more than one Orca, a couple of Orcas v one shark, they might fancy a snack, but one on one I imagine an orca might attack a shark, but the shark might not be able to tackle an orca...., which is bigger though?
