I'm currently completing the forms to go onto the bone marrow register, I've read all the info on the websites but I was wondering if anyone can give me any first hand experience of what this entails

Being on the register is just a matter of having a blood test - but you might be called on to do something more.

I checked out that entry but it was written in 1999 so I wondered if anyone had any more up to date experiences of the processes including the operation, recovery time etc
