Before joining your brave new world order, I was hoping that you could clarify a few things for me.

1) What will happen to criminals?
2) How will you gain power? Peacefully and democratically, or will you seize power?
3)If you will pay top euro for menial work, how will people be motivated to do the tricky jobs?
4) What will the retirement age be?
5) Will drugs be legalised?
6) Will homosexuality be allowed?
7) Who will raise children?
8) How many languages will there be?
9) Will teaching be regarded as a proper job?

these are very intersting question, thank you.
ill try my best to answer.

in order to answer the question of criminals, you need to address crime itself.

first, you need to look at a world where poverty does not exist, even what you would call an unemployment phase would rate at about 300 euros a week.
the crimes that are left over muts then either be.
perverted minds gaining a kick
crimes of ambition
crimes of freedom

most of the laws are formed at a local level so that communities can form independant beliefs.
this applies to homosexuality too. i believe it needs to be forbidden, but its not about what i want.


power will be aquired by buying a large portion of land then moving in so many people that want to swear allegance then we can go to the un as an emerging nation.

growth beyond that will be indoctrinate, but voluntary, e.g you can become apart of "new country" but you must follow its every law.

people dont get paid top doller, if you devided the worlds wealth equally then we would all still be rich.
no you use machines for as much as possible, then pay high for all other jobs.
every one else is meant to be life long learning, and contributing accademicly.

drug legality follows the same laws as every thing else.
i smoke cannabis deliberatly to get neurons cross firing with the intent of a new percpective.
class a drugs should be removed and appropriate synthetics should be created where there is desire.

families would raise there children, and child care places and schools would merge and provide a key worker to all new life.
the key worker is that persons honarary family member. whes job it is to perminantly analise the child and offer exactly what the child wants to exel in, and this continues through adult life so people are truly intergrated into the power structure.

Teaching is regarded as the ultimate job, the more you can contribute to fellow man the better your life would be.

as to languages i am still working on this, but so far i feel that we should invent a language designed for business and science to achieve maximum data throughput
and another language designed for our artistic natures.
just like the brain has two seperate sides for these very functions it would be safe to assume there is a best way to do each.
also, i would teach the 3 or 4 most spoken languages availible.

the opportunity to learn anything is availible to every one who can be trusted with that knowlege.

We dont care if its the ultimate job. what all H2G2 waqnts to know is "is it a proper one?"

if you mean they get rewarded for educating the young then yes.

Well what if they are not educating the young? Will they be fired from the system if they or their team or indeed school under performs caompared to others?

I mean will they have to take holidays from work that they book in advance and that have to be individually negotiated with their boss and other team members?



That sort of thing like in proper jobs you know.

this is going to be a little difficult to explain because it crosses several levels.

no body ever gets fired, a bit difficult to do when every job has the same ultimat boss.
if a person is not capable of conducting their job to the standards required, they are removed from active duty and further training ensues.
if there is a perminant incompetance, but their only desire is to work in that field, then they will be given responsibilities that are protected and reduced.
if there is a danger to the customer base then they are removed

if they are a pedo or something then they will be dealt with by the best method at the time.
in a perfect world i would sterilise them and put them in a land alone without immortality. then just wait for them to rot.

What would you do with children who are sexual offenders?

Would they be put in the same place to be pray to your banished perverts?

oh yeah as to holiday, i intend to massivly over staff with short working hours.
holiday time can be bought with credits, which come as part of the economy and cover will never be a problem.

as to promotion. your boss has nothing to do with it.
promotion is a direct consequence of level of education and feedback from those you maintain.

the highest job in the empire is my second in command, should a person either be able or desire to go beyond this i will set them up in there own empire after an appropriate amount of service.
i would be very sad to see such a hero go though.

But the synthetics are considerably more dangerous than the natural versions. Crack kills, coca leaves don't. And so on.

i never mentioned anything about current methods or technology.
bugger finding somthing that is that much like the real thing.

i mean destroy all class a's
then start to look for things people can use to fill the very gap they started taking the first drug for in the first place.

What sort of things? Art? Chocolate? Job prospects? Religion? Fulfilling personal relationships?

people take drugs for many different reasons, hopefully we can go some way to classifying(otherwise why do we have shrinks)
for me personaly i have two reasons for taking it.
one of which is about looking at the everything from a different slant.

for some its to escape reality
for others its just fun.
so for some it would be a differnt substance
for others it would be to help them find new meaning in therer own lives.
to many variables to give a broadstroke answer.

The reason I don't smoke grass any more is that it rots the brain. Metaphorically. What it actually does is destroy the neural pathways permanently.

It's a shame, because I love the gentle high and the time distortion you get with grass, but I am rather too fond of my ability to think to be prepared to send it up in smoke.

Also I get the nibbles, eat and put on weight, but that's a side issue.

This leaves a lot of unanswered questions:

1) Anyone who ever tried to build a shopping mall or a large housing development that encompasses many land parcels, especially any already occupied, runs into huge problems trying to convince the owners to sell. How do you propose to solve this?
2) Additionally, the goverment ruling the land you intend to purchase will be suspicious at the very least. How do you expect to gain their approval?
3) What enticements (other than your pipe dream inventions) do you offer that would make someone want to move there?
4) What enticements do you offer that would make someone want to declare loyalty?
5) What makes you think the ruling government would allow you to break off and form your own country?
6) What is your contingency plan if civil war is required?

That'll do for a start.

there are no real buldings at the moment.
hell it aint even real land.
the "government" is destructive/non-existent

i am not trying to "get" anyone to do any thing.
im gonna get land and get independance (somehow)
if i have to, theres always a space station.
just bear in mind that for this society to even start i need to be able to provide it with every thing they can get every where else.
most of the people who would be my people, would already be employed by me in the rest of the world wether they know it or not.

staring a positive spiral of this magnitude it actually very simple.
but that is my own insight i will not share.

please could everyone who is iterested please move to the "need help naming a political system" thread as people are finding it hard to follow the whole picture.

It seems to me that if you want them to move there, you'll be trying to "get" them to do something. And if you want them to declare loyalty, now you're trying to "get" them to do something which has been, for the last couple hundred years or so, against human nature.

If the local government is as bad as you say, what makes you think they won't just choose to destroy you?

that approach might be a little difficult for them.
