Did anyone have a go at this last night?

I'm delighted to say I did rather well

59/70 for me, although I'm trying to increase it to 60/70 by means of a careful appeal to Odo, who read out the wrong letter from the TV.
Which gives me an IQ of 136-139; same as last year.

Down from the 130s last time around to 124 this year. I really didn't get the word association bits at all.
It seems that I'm getting thicker as the years roll on

I would've scored more if I'd actually watched the comedy sequence at the beginning, rather than using it to get myself a beer.

You mean you wasted the evening watching the show?
I did the test on the web at about 8pm before I went out for curry and beer. Then when I got home I fast forwarded through the second part of the show on the VCR looking for the results etc.
One thing I did notice was that there were some sections that were totally different between the TV and the web test. Primarily these were the observational ones. Where the TV show had film clips the web had pictures, but pictures telling a different story.

Ah. We went out for curry and beer early, and then came home and did the test.

Same here B, only I went to the loo but when I was doing the memory thing, BBCi went all wonky and the answers to the previous question were going in as the answer to the question that was on Still, excusing that I got 119, which isn't too bad

I got 122 but, like B, I was in the ktchen getting beeres during both the video sequences, not realising that they were part of the test

I did it this morning (online) and got 126 which isn't too bad I suppose. Much easier than attempting it while trying to get an overexcited toddler to bed on a saturday night!

It depends.
If you did the test online at 9am, I'd say you were an alcoholic.

I think tests like this are very unfair on geniuses that don't do well on stadardised tests.

I got a 128 (guessed 130) which I think is pretty good considering I'm in Texas so I didn't know anything about it and had no idea who was in most of the pictures.
