is this just an incredibly random request? what kind of poem, and why, and why can't you write it yourself? just wondering.

In poetry bleeds death
our souls cry to be heard
pieces interwoven, hearts
wrung dry of their inhibitions
sealed up in
a eulogy for a grave
marked deep of mind's
misgivings, an alteration
fading out at our heart's
discontent, misery lies awake
as the words tear
onto the paper from
the very insides
only to be thrown away
in the moment they are consumed
in poetry bleeds death

Your Name is D
it rhymes with bee
stings like a wasp
and hits hard at the knee

Why do words stick to the page?
Why are birds trapped in a cage?
Do we seem to love them more
Have we greater things in store?
When we learn our A-Z*
Does it lead to poetry?
No for words they come undone
Not the fault of anyone.
Even the most literate find
Silence somtimes cloaks their mind.
Words are seldom simple things
Yet poetry from the heart can sing.

*Apologises for all my fellow Brits this only works in the American pronounciation.

Roses are red
corn grows in shucks
I hate writing poems
That's why this one sucks
