I worked it out by going to http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/F19585?skip=0&show=200 which shows 200 conversations per page rather than the usual 20
,counting the blobs at the top, then multiplying by 200.
I'm so glad i did that tonight, rather than say, going to the pub with some mates and getting

Well it would certainly work with no title, but have never tried no text
A single dot would do- but then that would be an extra 500 keystrokes
Oh and it would of course be considered spamming or jamming or somesuch, so whoever did it would get the server thrown at them.
