You have no idea what crap names most newbies have - anagrams are brilliant, witty and funny in comparison.

Yes it does matter if people keep changing their names in the middle of a very complicated conversation, and I "DO" buy that. It is difficult to keep track of a conversation with a lot of people in at the best of times, if their name changes you don't know who the hell you are replying to or supposed to be. It is irrelevant who they are in real life but when all you have to go on on a screen is their user name and that changes mid conversation then that IS confusing!

Actually, I agree with SS, but I'll put up with it uncomplainingly.
Well, almost uncomplainingly.
You don't mind if I mutter to myself in the corner here, do you?
***Grumble, grumble, grumble.***

Well I did suggest puting original name in brackets so we know who is who, what is the problem with those in game doing that to help those not?

I haven't changed the last part of my< tagline, so people who know me will recognise me at first sight - and those who don't know me, won't mind/notice anyway, will they?

It doesn't really bother me, the whole tag thing. I'm more interested in the post itself than the tagline.

Surely you are missing the point!
Supposing I was running a thread giving medical advice and there were 3 people I was giving advice to and they were for the sake of arguement called A, B and C.
Now they were all asking about medication dosage so I gave advice to A, B and C and each was given a differant dosage to take, but in the meantime they had all swopped name without telling me....the results might be a little dangerous if everyone forgets who they are and looks at thread later.
Now I am NOT suggesting that a thread like that should or would be set up, but it is an example of where changing names causes confusion.

Yes it can be extremely confusing. I tried to tell everyone that last Christmas but no-one listened. Are you listening to the radio or watching TV at the moment, strangely strange?

With only four letters an anagram would look daft for me also, so I've gone in a completely different direction.

You are interacting with the BBC. What do you expect?
Unfortunately, no-one ever talks about it in public places. A lot of the time we all know we use the message-boards and we 'think' we might have met someone we have met on a message-board but no-one ever says.
The next time you meet me, ask.
I'm going now because I have already spent too much time here today.

the anagrammitis has struck hoo too land again... I didnĀ“t like it last year, and I like it even less this year. Hence my tagline "Anti anagrammist".
However, do as you like... there are worse things in life to be upset about.
...but I am confused...
