h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Okay let me explain my situation.

I'm currently the head of the UCLAN (University of central lancashire) Film Production society, also known as the 'Fat Monkeys'.

Unfortunately we dont have a logo - we have a picture of brian blesseds head on a monkey that made us all laugh but we cant really use it (copyrighted image, plus putting that on a tshirt would cost a small fortune.

Thats where you lot come in. I need a simple logo, of a monkey, thats fat. There going to be black t-shirts so one color only please (ideally white).

A basic outline would be grand - think donkey kong with a weight problem. If however someones feeling artisitc then having said fat monkey eating video tape would be cool (I'd stretch to greys and stuff then because it'd look cool).

I have begged around every forum I'm a member of and turned up nothing and the situations getting a bit dire - can any of you lot lend a hand? Should I be pestering the community artists instead?

Whilst I cant offer you anything, I'm adding into the constitution that the logo cannot be changed - so it'll be used by the society for the next three years at least (while I'm in charge anywho) and I'll quite happily send you pictures of the kit in action.

CommunityArtists are your best bet. Other than that I'm sure google will throw up a variety of companies who will let you design a logo and have it printed onto a t-shirt.

Its cheeper to buy a primark top and some iron ons - Its about a third of the price, plus if we charge a quid or two on top we get money back into the production company...
