Mu Beta Posted Aug 21, 2003
We were banned from bringing Twister in because of several fights that had ensued.
In those days, me and some mates would always bring in our remote-controlled cars and race them around the playground/school hall. Today, I would be more likely to bring in Trivial Pursuits and challenge Gnomon or GreyDesk to a game.

That crappy nearly-science thing of sticking two bean cans on the end of a string and using it as walkie-talkie that's pretty useless cos you can communicate better by shouting.
I never had Star Wars figures. I used to pick up a stick or stone and say 'look - an unusual monster's walked in'.

Or that thing we made with a couple of packets of elastic bands. We called it Belgian Skipping in Aberdeenshire but it was Chinese Ropes in Glasgow.

I went to school in a rough area, we used to just beat each other up. And we weren't allowed to have glass in any of our school windows, we had that really thick clear plastic. Seriously! We did have fun beating each other up though...

We don't really need actual toys though. We could just play chasing.
