When you come out of Bedford rail station on the way to London, there are two absolutely huge hangar/depot buildings in the distance to the left of the track. Does anyone know what these are for?

Sounds like the hangars at Cardington, one of which used to house the R101. Are these the buildings?

It's got to be Cardington. My Dad did some training there in the 70's. he says they're mind-boggling up close...

I thought they may be hangers of some sort. Apparently the Titanic would just about fit inside one of the hangers.

I drove past them once on the way from Bedford to Northampton.
