Strange question perhaps ...
Planning on heading over to the Mull of Kintyre for a weekend of golf at Machrihanish ... anyone have any idea whether I'm quicker driving up and over via Loch Fyne or whether catching a ferry from the mainland to Arran and then onto the Mull of Kintyre is the speedier option.
Multimap seems convinced that going the boat route is best ... personally, I'm not ... insider knowledge would be much appreciated.
Muchas gracias chaps and chapettes ... a for your efforts ...

Depends on the weather, time of travel and quality of car, but most regular travllers/residents that I know seem to take the ferry
You can't get stuck behind a caravan on a ferry
Well, you can, but you know what I mean
