Actually, that's why I ran a second fermentation.

What I have is a basic kit, but with yeast cultured to create stout. It leaves an awful lot of sediment, but when you siphon into a second glass carboy for a week, lots more of the yeast settles out. That leaves less carbonation when you bottle, but when you're doing an smiley - ale or a smiley - stout you don't want so much carbonation anyhow.

It's been about a week, so I think I'll be ok. smiley - smiley
