I have a theory that the golden globes have the list of oscar winners and base theirs on that. I still can't forgive the golden globes for their best TV show...

Well then that makes two of us 
I hate the way they present the Oscars - 5 hours and they save all the best stuff for last. I always fall asleep sometime around Best Use of a Coathanger in a Supporting Role then wake up when the damn thing is over.
Have to go eat a pizza - back later !

i watched the delayed coverage here last night.
steve martin was great.
yay for michael moore stirring things up.
it was weird hearing the Penis.t winning (don't they know there are two 'i's in pianist?)
special prize to julie andrews for owning up to sleeping with steve martin 
otherwise all very hohum.

My own view is that the whole affair is a huge marketting exercise put on by the Hollywood mutual admiration society to make people believe that the meritricious trash they put out is actually art.
