It's got to have been asked before, but .. well .. how would you people all like to be propositioned, ideally?

I find it amusing that, as I am posting this post, the "sex in public places" and this thread are adjacent to each other. As if to indicate that they should be related.

hmmm...hard question - I doubt the place I was proposed to was ideal in a car outside your hall of residence isn't really romantic...and as for the earnings related caveat
s off to be cynical and unromantic in another thread

Well, I don't know how to answer the question! Never thought about it!
So does this thread have personal implications for you njan?

Seriously though, I'd like it to be heartfelt, I'd like for him to have already got the ring and have planned some way of asking, in other words I'd like it evidence that he had really put in some thought about it.
Other than that, so long as James is asking me, I don't care where or how

Well I just asked during a converstaion (on the phone) when it seemed to be the logical next thing to say.
I have to say that the next time I meet FC on a railway platform at Waverley Station I had already bought her the ring and turned the words she said into response into a second sort of porposal
'I love you today, I love you tomorrow, I'll love you forever, will you do me the honour of wearing this ring?' Before producing it and then climbing the Scott Monument under which we first meet IRL.

Especially if you haven't seen the persons *bad* side.
Then again, when I'm infatuated with someone, I usually want to marry them and have their babies within a week...
