any suggestions on how to help her get well sooner that don't involve pissing her off?
she has been very lucky - no internal injuries or breaks and only three areas stitched up - one hind leg, which was very badly hurt, one front paw and under the chin, both of which suffered grazes
does anyone have any ideas for how to play with her in a way that doesn't involve jumping or running about?

I suggest you move her bed into the airing cupboard... Given enough warmth, I find that any cat will choose to sleep for 18 hours a day, which can only help the recovery process.

You could also give her rescue remedy. She may recover quicker.
Good luck hope she makes a speed recovery.
