Help me, I have lost my space due to clicking on a link on big green smilie's page. Apparently I can get my own one back by logging out and in again but i can't remember my password. To make matters worse, everything is in classic goo so I can't find anything. I want my space back! Have lost enough as it is this week without losing my space as well! How do I get in without my password?

telling them your nickname and U number, they'll be able to send you back your password.

Before you do that... can you remember your BBC-login name? If not, try to click Preferences, http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/userdetails, and then click "editing your global BBC user identity.", it might still show *your* name, instead of BGS's

When you know your login name, you can get a new password at http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/mybbc/mybbc?profileEditor=1

That doesn't tell you what your password is - but looking at my user name (also forgotten) I was reminded of what I might have put for my password and after a few more guesses got it right. Hooray.

That's ok, I appreciate the , am just a bit fragile so panicked a bit when I couldn't get home again - also I find goo a bit scary and hard to read (sorry goo fans, but that's how it is).

That's probably my fault for changing it to Goo.

Maybe you'll be more careful who you invite to do what in future.
