Are there any free festivals?
Tefkat Started conversation Jun 2, 2001
Hi
This is Tefkat's daughter.
I'm looking for free festivals in the UK this June or July.
Does anyone know of any?
(I'm desperate to get away from Tefkat the )

Weel tefkat's daughter,
there's a distinct lack of what used to be a thriving free festival scene in the uk. I'd check out one of the alternate listings like schnews party and protest guide, link on my page!
Also, there's a lot of little ones that don't really encourage camping over the weekend tho you can often find something going on over nite.
Check out the leamington peace festival and next weekend there's a small one in coventry.
Not sure of any others at the moment, ooh, strawberry fair in cambridge is rather good and that's really soon i think!
Z. (gutted that there's no glastonbury this year, tho feel better that I contributed to an entry on the greatest festival in the world)

Hey, I just had some Heinz 57 with my sausages. BTW where is that guy who loved Heinz salad cream?

There is the Bristol Community Festival, even if these days it's not free, it'll certainly be low cost. Probably sometime in the middle of July if I remember rightly.

Thanks. I'll tell her. Neither of us had checked today - we had a major disaster in the kitchen. Basically I no longer HAVE a kitchen
Oh well. . .

Hey Xanatic! Who are you calling a salad?
I know they say I'm as nutty as a fruit but there's no need for THAT

Back to the question:
Why don't you come to the Loveparade in Berlin on july 21st?
I can also recommend the Streetparade in Zürich in august.
