Anyone else think this is the funniest thing on TV for ages?

I'm still trying to work out whether Jack Dee is being sincere or just playing upto the cameras. Either way he's doing a bloody good job of it so he should win.
But yes quite entertaining,

It has been an inspired piece of programme making. Not so interestng without Vanessa and her insecurities mind - but compulsive veiwing all the same. What with that and Touch the Truck we have really been spoiled this week haven't we!!

IMHO it's probably better that Vanessa has gone. She seemed to be so self-interested and defensive. I think the house would have been treading on eggshells to avoid upsetting her. The house seemed a much happier (& funnier) place the day after her eviction, although that may just be the footage Channel4 allow us to see.
Contrast Vanessa to the loss of Chris Eubank who has also self-interested, but seemingly thick-skinned enough to take whatever was thrown at him. I was disappointed he got evicted as I think he might have been quite entertaining to see for the week.
Anthea has been a revelation she always seemed quite fun. Prior to CR-BB my opinion of her was not very high. Seeing her talking about her marriages was interesting.
Keith seems to have mellowed over the week. He didn't seem quite as positive last night, as he had previously. I think maybe he needs people to bounce off.
Claire has been interesting. Not being a Brookie viewer I had no preconceived notions. She's been fairly entertaining all the way through. Certainly brought up some interesting topics of convo!
For me Jack has been the star. I think he's more aware of the cameras than anyone and has been playing along. It was interesting last night that he started talking about what to say when they leave, after he'd turned the lights out. Maybe he felt the darkness provided security from Big Brother. Overall he seems to be the same as when it first started.
Of course one can never quite know what footage is being kept from us and therefore what images of individuals are being concealed.
Whatever the case it's been highly entertaining. Probably even better than the original series.

I found the whole thing strangely depressing.
Jack was definately the star, you're right.

It was reasonably entertaining (not unmissable, but not worth making an effort to miss like the original version was).
I'm pretty sure Jack Dee was acting up simply because of the escape attempts. Given we live in a democracy he could only be 'imprisoned' in the house with his consent and so could easily of escaped if he genuinely wanted to. Mainly that convinced me that he was not being 'real' about the thing.
