Will Do
*The X-309 climbs into the Atmosphere and the afterburners engage*
Is this your first time in outerspace Major?

AkronU Posted Jan 24, 2005
*grinning from ear to ear*
Yes ma'am, I didn't have clearance to take he through the atmo last time.

Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Jan 24, 2005
Stargazing was always a passion of mine ever since I was a kid, I used to sit for hours in my bedroom with my uncle's old telescope looking at the stars
*Smiles sadly*
If I was doing that, I never got in my parents way which suited everyone
*Shakes herself out of it*
Do you want the controls AkronU?
X-309
AkronU Posted Jan 24, 2005
*grin drops from his face*
No ma'am, I'll take her back in, you just enjoy.
*thinks for a sec*
If you'd like to talk about it ma'am I'm open. If not I'd love to hear about flying that Spitfire.

Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Jan 24, 2005
I'm ok at the moment, you don't want to hear about unhappy childhoods, enjoy flying this,
*Smiles*
The spitfire is a fabulous aircraft, so manouverable so versatile and such fun to fly, I did a dogfight simulation with a Stukka at a display once, talk about getting carried away
Ok ready for control handover

AkronU Posted Jan 24, 2005
*smiles*
I have the aircraft.
That sounds like a hell of a time. There was a guy in the hanger I fly out of who had a fully restored P-51 Mustang. Now THAT'S one sweet ride.
*grins in rememberance*
So do you still do any flying in your minor amount of spare time?
*sets controls from re-entry*
X-309
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Jan 24, 2005
*Grins*
Spare time, what's that, I wish I had more time to fly, I thought coming here might give give me a bit more freedom but the paper work keeps on piling up plus going through the gate on and off, still it keeps me out of my families way thank God
*Swallows the rant she was about to start*
A mustang eh, nice aircraft
X-309
AkronU Posted Jan 25, 2005
Yes ma'am
*begins the descent through the atmosphere*
I myself was raised by two therapists, I was destined to end up completely sane or totally psycho.
*executes a few barrel rolls after passing through the atmosphere*
The verdicts still out on that one.
*checks the GPS*
We'll be back to base in one five minutes ma'am

Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Jan 25, 2005
Oh I don't know, they would have made a fortune studying my Grandmother, when I was flight training I used to tell her I'd seen her on her broomstick and next time I was going to set fire to it with the reheat
*Gasps at the barrel roll*
You know what they say about friends and family
X-309
AkronU Posted Jan 25, 2005
*chuckles*
I do, but I don't think it's appropriate for mixed company.
*sets flaps for landing speed and radioes the tower*
Cheyanne Mountain control this is X-ray three zero niner requesting permission to land direct for runway zero niner
affirmative three zero niner you're cleared for immeadiate landing
*lines up the runway and lands smoothly, navigating to the proper spot*
