Kali we do need a Daniel Jackson type in Sg-1 and you can have the Ancient Gene if you want but we do try and keep this as close to the TV show as possible and I've seen 7 of the 9 series and I'm sure there was only one time an ancient chose to take human form and it was because he broke the rules, same with the way Daniel was returned
