Are you up against something temporary that might go away? Are other people part of the problem? If sop, can you get around them?

We'll build a ladder - there's probably something cool on the other side!

I think I need time off work and a holiday. Both of which I'll have soon enough. Tomorrow is my last day for a couple of weeks, and I'll be scooting off to foreign climes next week.
Sometimes I wish I was one of those noblemen in Chekhov's stories, who can sod off to a country estate for six months every time they get a dose of indigestion or get fed up with the dog's flatulence. I think I have the necessary skillset to make a very good lazy bastard aristocrat.
Ach, to be honest, I don't have a lot to complain about. I felt a lot better after a sleep. It's just at the minute nearly every sphere of life seems to be exhaustingly complicated . Which isn't a bad thing - it keeps things interesting. It's just the all-at-onceness.
Nay worries. Just a bit frazzled and enjoying the pleasures of grouching, grumbling and complaining. It stops me throwing turnips and spanners and what-not at people.

MMM.... yes, if you find out how to be such a nobelman... lettuce know I was so close to just randomly booking a break for this weekend, but I guss luckily sensibleness snuck in the back gate, and prevented me from doing so... but... sometimes its just sorely needed to be in differnt surrounds, air, and environs

you are, as the Germans say, Urlaubsreif.
Hopefully you'll now be able to relax and charge your batteries. Don't forget to sleep. I've had this before and it's amazing how physically tired it leaves you.

Well put! Like Oblomov or Oblonsky. Large gentlemen who can get away with not budging from their couches, not even to investigate whether the price being offered for their wives' land is advantageous for them.

Urlaubsreif - yeah! I think that's about right!
Well, I'm off work now.
And just in time, I think, as I was becoming inadvisably blunt with senior management. Today the words 'talking out your ' may have escaped my lips once or twice. As well as sundry other terms, mostly anatomical in nature.

Believe it or not, and I know it might seem unlikely, but in work matters I do take great pride in my tact and discretion.

Well, I'm tempted to say that if you can deal with 2legs, you can deal with ennyfing.

Hmm.... I'm having serious problems..... recently.... figuring out complements from insults..... - In order to clarify, I just take everything as a complement even when my consultant called me a 'drama queen', and broke down into hysterical.... or ... maniacal laughter in her consultation room the other week... - tankfully I'm the sane one in my family...
Key: Complain about this post
