Sanity is usually relative, but if your relatives aren't sane....
I've hit some kind of a wall.
KB Posted Apr 4, 2015
Well if we're talking about sanity, maybe I should tell you the dream I had this evening. I had to find some guy who was in Asia, about getting something added to UNESCO's list of internationally important cultural objects...
And the important culturally momentous piece of global heritage that I had to get the UN to protest was...
...Ringo Starr's nose.
I've hit some kind of a wall.
KB Posted Apr 4, 2015
Grr, 'protest' in that last post should have been 'protect'.

I think its quite a noble cause, really. If you think about it. really. I mean, noses can just, be so taken for granted, and often just misunderstood. No one really pays them the attention they deserve, and culturally, one has to wonder, just exacltly where we would be without them.
were, for example, we not able, with certainty, to say, that Brian May's nose, was clearly a facet, of his face, during every major guitar solo he ever did, or, that, Nelson Mandella rarely made aspeech, without the presence of his nose, or, indeed, that most major sports participants, were rarely, if ever unaccompanied by their noses.
and, ringo, seemingly, therefore, is a perfectly, logical, and laudible, place to start, on readdressing the balance, in oh so many ways.
I mean, without a nose, just think fo teh mess when we got a cold.

Paul McCartney might help us, I'm sure he's bound to have UN contacts...
And Elton John, he loves a bandwagon to jump on...
I think we need a letter writing campaign. What's Desmond Tutu up to these days? I reckon he'd help, he's a very amicable wee man.

Noses play a significant part in the libretto of P.D.Q. Bach's "Iphigenia in Brooklyn."
"And in a vision, Iphigenia saw her brother Orestes,
Who was being chased by the Amenities .
And he cried out in anguish:
Oh, ye gods, who knows what it is to be running?
Only he who is running knows.
CHORUS: Running nose, running running nose...."

how true... and lettuce not forget the nose that came to comfort the prophet in his hour of kneed for the nose that cometh is the nose that not run, when times a hard, and we've run out of rum damnit. Now I really fancy a bottle of rum... I'm not.... they won't let me... I can't.... won't... no for me.... and the better the nose for it and the ears too...

Are you a pirate? You wear a lot of hats, Bartholomew!

I could be a pirate if I wanted too. and, indeed, to an extent, often have I been such, and indeed, in a strange way, continue so to be.
to be as all things, to all men, and all women, for that matter. often alone, singularly, but often combined, through eternal mixing and mixmatching of factos combined, eventually gives rise, perhaps one day, to a unique sitaution hurrah lettuce spray
I'm in an odd mood today. but..... luckily... or not.... I must away to sweep, mop and clean, then to cook, and eate, and etntually to bath in a concofany of coloures of scent and warmth

I have, of late, become a bit suspicious of anyone who isn't.
Anyone who isn't at least a tiny bit touched in the head can't be entirely normal.

only... a tiny bit?! Hmm.... I think I may qualify... and so does my badger. yep, that's my badger as mad as a pinacolada. on a quaille egg.

We're all mad? That must explain my craving for Cheshire cheese and a purring cat on my lap.
2Legs, why did you talk about but use smileys for ?
I've hit some kind of a wall.
2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Apr 6, 2015
why?! why?!
gosh. you had to ask. didn't you...
If I've got to justify, and provide, justification for each smiley I use, within the context, to which I use it.... this may take some time...
*adjusts chainmail brracelets*
right.
imagine, if you will; a tall mountain. Not massively tall perhaps tall enough to just about have perminant snow covered top.
OK?
right.
You'd never find a panda living at the top would YOU?
I mean, the lower slopes perhaps.
but, far more likely there would be rocks?
see?

Nice try, 2legs, but I've got your cards marked, boyo. I know your game. You're working on some panda-badger hybridisation program in your kitchen lab.
