Thank you for the warning, I'll never go there.

By the way, why don't you come to Zeeland, Cadzand. No bunkers, though you can visit the village of Breskens, heavily bombed in 1944. There is a Bundespost Erholungs Ambt! With a real Directorin Generalissimo in charge, very nice.

Why doesn't this entry get the attention it needs?

I like this entry, so I give it my best shot.
first paragraph:
The Area = The area
militaryhistorics? Perhaps experts in military history?
conrete/cement-lovers? Lovers of cement and concrete.
= Atlantic Wall
Nazis = Nazi's? I'm not sure about the spelling.
restaurants/bars= restaurants and bars
funny ment signs? signs ment to be funny
france = France
Relax = relax
after 23 you could add 'hours'.
= Le Tour de France
Further = Furthermore
Chips-stations? What are those? Mobile chip-shops?
Hard return after 'chips' before 'beer'
toilets and showers
more-awaken? What's that?
not-seduced? By what?
multitasking? You must out of your mind!
Boulongnes sur mer = Boulognes-sur-Mer
There is far more to do in Wissant. I checked the websites. There are fêtes, there are even hotels in Wissant.
Good luck with your entry. By the way, is the square behind the cathedral in Cologne still called 'Heinrich Böll Platz'?
Good writer! There is not entry on him in this guide!

"The toilets and showers are quite o.k. for XY-Chromosomatics. The smarter, early-to-rise, not-seduced-by-bad-habits-and-manners and equipped-with-multi-tasking-abilities sex will be likely to prefer the sanitary facilities situated next to the entrance." I always knew there was something wrong with me - XY-Chromosomatosis - that's it.
Just one thing - its preferable to remove mention of prices. H2G2 is unfortunately not inflation proof.
Also there are a number of typos - if the author returns we can discuss them.

Hi Woodpigeon,
glad you like my article. I just come to h2g2 from time to time, so that´s why i reply so late.
You said "there are a number of typos" - guess this means wrong spelling. O. K. please let me know.
Yours Captain

Hi Captainmocker,
Yes, you are right - typos mean spelling or punctuation mistakes. Here are a few that I found, which can be corrected easily, I think.
"It´s hard to throw a stone not hitting a bunker" --> without hitting..
"coast line" --> coastline
"bunkerconstruction specialist Todt" --> "construction specialist Todt"
"ment" --> meant
I'm not sure of what you mean by the sentence - "While there are on many working..."?
"a real night-for-day-hip-party-people" --> "hip-party-person"
"billiard" --> billiards
"liter" --> litre
"As a day trip I can suggest" --> "Boulognes-sur-Mer is close-by and worth a visit".

The author hasn't been around in nearly two months and hasn't worked on this in ages...may I vaguely propose a move? Not committing myself to anything

Well in that case, if no one has any objections, I propose that I give some consideration to maybe seconding it. What does everybody else think?

Is the entry pickable in its present form? The author seems to have done the corrections that were suggested.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
