Knows some basics of Spanish including how to say 'I feel like an octopus in a garage'. Can also order any drink at a bar but cannot understand desserts. Can speak fairly fluent football but cannot describe concept of a hill. Also confuses GCSE level French with Spanish mid-conversation.

Hope you can help smiley - smiley

How terribly embarrassing!! I wasn't subscribed to this thread for some reason! I'm terribly sorry everyone! You're all being added to the list right now and I extend my embarrassed apologies. Now that Joe C has a bit more computer access hopefully you'll all get to do a bit more than before.

Excellent smiley - biggrin Hi there. Things are a bit more lively here than in French, and I'm already teaching in... a thread that's called something or other... so read a bit in there, and then feel free to join in! If you don't understand anything I've said so far, just ask, and I'll go over it again. Are you learning Spanish at the moment, out of interest?

Hola smiley - smiley

I am studying Spanish in Alicante, and am half way thru a 6 week course. I´m heading back to the UK afterwards, and would like to keep practicing! So far I can only speak in present tense...
