Nothing, as far as I can tell. Except the warm glow of having found them all.

Yep, that's the way the Galaxy is Guided.
I won a T-shirt here at h2g2 many years ago and I'm still waiting for it. I'm still naked from the waste dump, I mean waist up, but that old warm glow just keeps glowing and glowing. It's what keeps me here. And it keeps me warm on a discontented winter's night.

You can call me TC Posted Mar 25, 2005
When the link first appeared here, I looked and wasn't too impressed, to tell the truth. I prefer the US trailer to the UK one - it is scripted entirely in the form of a guide entry, and the UK version is a bit looser in style, i.e. - it is just like any other trailer.
The background music is extremely nauseating and made me want to scream and jump out of the window. It wouldn't go off, even when I clicked on "music : off" (Call that music?) I didn't want to switch the speakers off because I was watching the trailers.
So I didn't hang around long - certainly not long enough to look for secrets.
Perhaps I'll switch the speakers off and do that now. ....

I really like this website, very interactive. I had no trouble finding all the secrets. But no, nothing exciting happens when you've got them all.
In the bit about the heart of gold's ring pattern (in the gallery section) is the guy talking to the hostess in section 3 of the ring meant to be Douglas Adams? Or is it just a coincidence that he looks a bit like him?!

It's not a coincidence. You can see other members of the crew in that image as well.

It could be tricky finding out which one you've missed, without knowing which ones you have... There's pretty much one on every page.
Did you get the gargle blaster? The towel? The wingmirror?
Incidentally, saw the movie this evening, and it's stupendous! They use the new song "So long and thanks for all the fish" for the opening credits, and at the end, but the first reveal of The Guide has the old music cranked up
PS. you can turn the annoying music off on the website...

Traveller in Time playing the falling whale song on two systems
"But it is real life annoying, should it not go with it?
I guess they will hide some more during the run of the movie "
