A Conversation for Love Bites

Ah, young love!

Love bites are nothing but a sign of affection between two drunken, Kappa-clad teenagers who know no better. It's a harmless enough thing and not the kind of abuse that parents really need worry about. Mind you, saying that, I once got drunk at a barbeque and let ome girl give me a love bite in a very tender place... ah, happy days.

Anyway, I digress. Love bites are only an adolescent phase, but the desire to inflict them can grow into other, more frightening displays of emotion. The urge to bruise someone as a sign of affection is a strange one and one which could, given time, develop into the practices known around Devon as Love-punching, Love-scratching, Love-headbutting and, the terrifying, Love-kicking the shit out off. The latter can often come from the most uunlikely of sources, such as the huge, psychotic squaddie in the local pub. Although whether his affection is genuine can never truly be uncovered - he could be just some violent tease, but you won't be conscious long enough to ask him more than twice.

But anyway, time and ironing wait for no man.

I know I'm *lucky*

I'm a violent tease and I gave my lovely boyfriend a lovely large hickey yesterday. I didnot know what I had done to him until the next morning when he huged me and said "youve gone good." I think it was a joke...
