Hmm, puzzled both by the 'dangerous' and 'unhygenic' comments being made, although from two seperate sources, they seem linked. Firstly, You're in more risk of breaking the skin with a proper bite, but thats harder than it sounds, skin is very tough, and how is it more unhygenic than kissing?

Aside from that, lovebites look lovely, especially on men on the collar bone, just beside that little hollow in the throat.
