*Shaylar, Leon and Byzantia fly over the gate*

*Heads for the stable*

*Flies over the gate*

Farewell down there

*As she goes she mutters a spell and waves her hand, as she does she torrential rain starts to fall

*to the guard*

The rain will stop when the rivers are full, leave a message in Imardin if you need me for anything else

[Guard] Thank you for your help my lady

*A lone horse rider in black and silver halts at the door as two guards approach him. He hands them a note explaining he is a messanger and does not yet understand the language. They wave him through and he thunders off towards the city*

*Patricia and nevermore slip through the gate*

[Guard] Welcome back Madam

*Shaylar and Byzantia fly over the gate*

Captain, the orphans from Imardin are going to move into the Manor house, they will be here tomorrow

*The ground shakes. The archer patrolling the wall looks out to the source, and spots a terrifying sight. Coming from the direction of Kalsho is a monster, over 100 metres tall with iron skin. It has six arms the size of trees with claws the size of men. It is covered is horns the sixe of houses, and eyes all over its body, from so small as to be invisible to the size of cows.*

*Behind it, there are what appear to be two huge birds, though at this distance nothing more can be told.*

*The Archer starts to ring a bell*

[Archer] INVADERS!!! INVADERS!!!

*The ginat monster walks with great slow shuddering steps towards Oane. Despite moving relatively slowly, its legs are extremely long, so it covers quite a bit of ground with each step.*

*The two 'birds' come into closer view. One is a griffin, the other is a winged serpent. Both have human riders.*

*The thing advances and starts bashing the wall.*

*By now, some of the warriors recognise that the necromancer Kazinishi ka-Warumoto is riding the griffin, tohugh it is unlikely that anybody will recognise Orbric Virg on the serpent.*

*Archers fire all kinds of arrows, spears, and catapults at Aristeros, but to little effect; all they do is make it slightly angrier. Aristeros bashes the coral walls with its six arms and, after a while, manages to make a great hole, through which he walks.*

*Kazinishi and Orbric fly up behind and unleash bolts of death energy. These have no effect.*

*Orbric holds up his hand and his sigil glows. Seven mysterious runes surround Aristeros and form a translucent seal that looks like it could hold it in; however, it strains for a bit, and then breaks free.*

*Kazinishi feels faint, then his symbols starts to glow. Suddenly, a bolt of fire leaps from his hand into some of Aristeros' eyes. It grunts, but is otherwise not bothered. It simply keep walking, crushing buildings underfoot.*

[Kazinishi] Orbric, if we want to beat this thing, we'll have to combine our powers!

[Orbric] *Considers for a moment, then decides to cut his losses.* Agreed. Hayamura!

[Kazinishi] Maranidu!

*Both their sigils glow black and red, and surround Aristeros with the same seven columns that Orbric used on Kazinishi at the battle on the Imardin-Kalsho road. They spin faster and faster, eventually forming what appears to be a solid cylinder of fire and shadow. To the magicians' surprise, this explodes, and aristeros walks out largely unharmed, though a few of its eyes are bliking rather more than usual.*

*Aristeros heads for the lake and reaches two of its arms in. Orbric and Kazinishi follow.*
