h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

A very large room in which the elementalist's can practise their magic, the room has some trees and and other natural elements in it to assist in the training

*enters and drops a bag of stuff on a bench*

*pulls out a big book and opens to 'charms'*

*studies the first page*

*gets soem stuff out of his bag, whispers ome stuff, tosses it into the air, making a streak of flame*
check.
*tries another*
*it explodes in puff and disappears*
hmm. that should have been water*
*looks back at the book*
*pulls out some more stuff*

*continues on thsi way for several hours, taking a 15 mintues break every 45 minutes*

*6 hours later*

*drags his stuff out of the room, after much improvement, schedules soem time for the next day on a little paper by the door, sits down in a chair in the hallway right by the door to this place, and falls to sleep*

*Comes in and sits to get his breath back*
I was told to come here.

Ok, then.
*Concentrates deeply, and puts his hands together*
Ngghhhh...!
*Creates a very small ball, then releases it to be a slight gust of wind*

*returns*
*drags his stuff to the other side of training area and drops it*
*has several burn marks from yesterday*


*starts trying some harder stuff after goingover what he accomplished yesterday*
*new stuff mostly w/o charms and herbs because he's used most of his up, somehow...*

*Starts again, and this time concentates with less fury*
*A slightly (ONLY) bigger ball is created and fires it causing a slightly better breeze*

~~~You must prepare for war, practise magic you are comforable with, I will tell you when you are needed~~~

Ok.
*Concentrates by gripping his right arm and then creates a bit more of a bigger ball*
Hmpphh...
*Releases it, causing it to creates a small 10 second breeze*

*enters and gets hsi stuff out again*

*flips through the book*

*spends the next few hours working on stuff again*

*exits, singed, red-skinned, out of breath, swaeting, drenched air standing on end, and bruised a bit, and goes off to the library...*

*reports, though a bit late*
