I didn't know any CCG players before I went to university but have since then started collecting one, Star Trek as well as a Star Wars Episode 1 based game called Young Jedi and I may have to look into the new Austin Powers game coming out in the new year.

Speaking of cards, I still have a big stack of Star Wars trading cards that I bought back in 1977 when I was insane about Star Wars. Come to think of it, I think I've still got a big box of Star Wars stuff from back then. Hmmm, I think I'll try and dig it out this weekend. I love nostalgia. It's so warm and fuzzy. smiley - smiley

Austin Powers? Good lord, what will they make a game of next?

It looks like being fun. Two sides Good and evil, evils objective is to get $100 billion from assassinating the good guys and good is trying to gain 100 "shag" points. When one agent targets another for whatever reason the two opposing players take it in turn to place battle cards or "friggin bones" on their agent, whenn one player runs out or does not wish to use any more s/he may appeal to any other players (game for 2-6 people) to "Throw them a friggin bone here". You also have happenings in which you emulate "Dr Evils, evil pinky sign" or "Austins, V sign" and the last player to copy you has to pay some kind of forfiet. Finally you end you turn by saying "I'm spent".

Wholesome, good fun.

Wow, that does actually sound like fun.

Wolfman, Zaphodista :X (soon to be Zarquon again, or maybe not)

Sounds cool. Does it have all the minor villains from the movie, like the Irish guy with the lucky charms? And do they each have different properties like the different cards from "Magic"?

I think so, but whilst the rules are on the website, last time I checked they hadn't got round to putting card images there.

Oh if you're interested (I think) its http://www.decipher.com/austinpowers

Definitely, if you're interested in the game. Can't remember any specifics offhand, though.

I just remember the films as being extremely funny and bringing to the world "Just the two of us" the Dr Evil Mix, which has been a mainstay of my radio show for weeks now.

OK, some bloke, I want more info than that..

Keyrings eh?

Do you actually use them at the same time (my flatmate has about 10 keyrings on her bunch of keys)?
How many do you have? What started you collecting? Any themes, e.g. keyrings from different countries, attractions, sports teams? And any favourites? (My favourite keyring - not that I collect - is a Theakstons bottle opener/keyring - it has a really nice weight to it)

Nice bubblefish - how do you do that?

Oh my, questions, questions, questions - aren't I the one smiley - smiley

As it should be. Extremely funny is right.

I use about 10 of them (on two sets of keys) but I have about 100. Haven't counted for a while. I collect any type, although I have most of cartoon characters (I think).

I'm not going to give away the secret of my bubblefish, although Jester has somewhere (you can find it)
