I'm confused, everyone: do I add links to the pages I want everyone to looks at here? How *exactly* do I review another's pages? Is it just a case of replying to his/her forum entry, or do I add comments to the article itself's forum? Please help!

While I'm between runs, I'm trying to start a massive collection of urban legends. Check it out and let me know if any of you have something else to add: http://www.h2g2.com/A184457

Post the articles you want entered here.
To critique, you start at veg's fun run homepage and follow the links to pages. At least some of the pages will probably have a text editor that will post your comments directly to the correct forum, and the first article in the forum will have a link to the next critique page. (Or at least that's the way it's worked for the last two )

Hi - I am sorry for the Techno problems. You can now copy the HTML code to put at the foot of your page at:
http://www.h2g2.com/P163414
or at Bruce's page - If you use bruce's page make sure you click on the button first - The last line should read
<-- To EDITOR - remove TO HERE
-->
This will put the Fun Run logo and a text editor at the foot of your page which will post directely to your review forum - Please put this on your page as quickly as pos.
Thanks Vegiman

There's still a problem with the code generated on my page - there's an extra being generated (by the site I think) that means the form, if put on your page, looks OK but the form wont submit. I'll let you know when its fixed.

Thanks Bruce - Well Guys - Just copy the code from the page I gave you above which is found at page:
http://www.h2g2.com/A163414
Perhaps we will get the easy copy fixed for the next fun run. For now get your HTML code added to your page.
Thanks Vegi

Veg: Added (with GuideML corrected -- Still forgetting to contain all params in "" and the input lines weren't terminated... This might work fine with HTML, but not GuideML).

Thanks for the articles Guys/Gals - I will look at them later.
Nonnie - the problem lies in the code page copied. The guide works in html yet the GuideML is xml - I will correct this for others.
Please HTML option if guideML does not work.
Thanks
Vegi

It's not a bother.. I just fixed it. Also noted an interesting side-effect... When fixing the format and other small things, I noticed that an error I was getting in the Java disappeared.
Suggestion: When you put the c&p stuff out for runners to copy to their pages, put it in a text box (like Bruce's page) so it (the C&P) doesn't mess up the format.

vegiman:-) Posted Oct 9, 1999
I had to resort to the C&P because there is s probblem putting the text in a text box. It will not allow the nesting of tags. Bruce is still working on this although as he says above he still has problems. Hopefully it will be up and running for the next Fun Run.
I have now closed Fun Run2 and Started Fun Run3 so now is a good time to make those final alterations and get it submitted if you have not already done so.

catcha - I am off to work now.

I seem to be chasing this fun run thing around a lot which, now that I think about it means I'm probably in the race just coming up quickly from behind is all. Sorry I don't know html personally but would definitely like to meet her as she seems very popular around the net. My contribution lives at A178382 RECIPES 4 DRUNK CARBON BASED LIFEFORMS
