Also, Dayton is home to Wright Patterson Airforce Base & Museum, is the headquarters for National Cash Register (now called NCR), and birthplace of several famous people which has led to some incredibily confusing streets being named after them.
Also, Delaware, Ohio was home to RB Hayes and is also home to the largest and longest all horse parade and the Little Brown Jug.

On U.S. Presidents:
"Ohio has helped to provide the United States with eight Presidents - the second-most (next to New York) of any state in the nation."
Either Ohio or Virginia (depending whether you count residency or birthplace) were home to the most U.S. Presidents. New York only had five....
On Professional Sports Teams:
You could add Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA - Basketball), Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL - Hockey), Columbus Crew (MLS - Soccer) and scores of lower profile teams (Arena Football, Minor League Baseball teams, etc.)
