h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Thanks to some brilliant tinkering behind the scenes Pastey and his Techs, together with the Guru's have managed to do the impossible!

They've been working hard to get the site ready for *Us*.

We now have a brand new <./>FrontPage</.>. We've got our longer Name Tag back, with added punctuation.

The Guide Editors are pulling out all the stops to bring us new Guide Entries to read

The ACE's are currently enjoying the knowledge that they are only ACEing those who wish to be here. It's so much easier!

The Community Editors had a bit of a rough time for a couple of days. But, hey! We all make mistakes and just as long as we learn from them, no harm was done.

Our thanks must also go out to the Moderators, who have been working alongside the Guru's in areas we never knew existed before!

Finally, we must Thank Robbie Stamp, Aly and Brian Larholm, the Zens and all the Committee dreamt of this day, when the BBC will be sending out their final round of emails to tell Researchers where we are! Yes, folks! All 70,000 of them!

Thanks to one and all. It's great how well everything is working.

We have some great teams, Hyp. They are working so well together, you wouldn't believe they are miles or countries apart!

However it's happening, it's fabulous! I sense a renewed excitement and optimism about the site in so many of us. I for one am very grateful to those of you making it all possible.
