There will be a period of scheduled downtime on Wednesday, 27 September, 2006 for a DNA upgrade.

This concerns mainly under-the-bonnet changes, but there'll also be some slight visible differences which we'll detail when we have more information.

h2g2 and other DNA communities will be unavailable from approximately 7am to 11am.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Yes, and usually you can chose *when* you want to do them. Very often exams for the same lecture are held once per month or at least a few times per semester. You just chose the date you find best.

I like the sound of that! Presumably the content of the exam is changed though? Otherwise I'm sure cheating would be rife!
