How about adding a recommendation for what kind of consistency the snow should have for the best result? At which temperature, roughly?
And the 16 000 - for which specific geographical area is that number? The world? Europe? UK? Wales? (provided I got that least fact right)

I think an entry like this would need a lot more information. When did humans start building snowmen? And why? Was there once be a cultural or religious significance which is now lost, or has it always been just kids mucking about? You might have to go into quite a bit of detail - remember some people reading this may never have seen snow apart from in pictures and on TV.

You also might want to mention the logistics of actually making one. For example, rolling the three enormous balls, which only works when the snow is the perfect packing consistency and generally get too heavy for one person to lift versus piling a whole bunch of snow in a vaguely snowmanish shape, putting your dad's hat on top, and running around going "Look, I made a snowman!"

Hi all, just thought I'd let you know that I'm currently writing an entry on how to build a snowman at A2204957. I'm going to put it into PR when it's finished. Hope this doesn't step on anyone's toes!
