Our TV is supposed to be fully digital in a few years' time, by which time I'll probably have acquired the technology, and digital radio has started in some places. Not in Canberra, though. We're only the national capital, so of course we're on the list of provincial centres which will get digital radio sometime near the middle of the next decade.

I'm looking forward to digital radio. There will be a dedicated ABC channel for sports broadcasts, so my own preferred station won't keep getting hijacked for broadcasting pointless crap like cricket once the digital network is in place.

As of yesterday, our area is fully digital and fully tuned in. Gosh, sounds like the old Hippy saying:

Turn on, Tune in, and Drop out!

I need a Digital TV recorder - with a decent signal from the transmitter - and a decent internet connection (Hull ranks as one of the slowest in Britain)!!
