Hmmmm.
Well, I could go either way on an entry like this. If you want to get it into the Edited Guide, here are some suggestions though.
Take out the first person reference there
You might want to put this in GuideML to make it more readable. Some information is at <./>GuideML-Clinic</.> but feel free to ask here if you need some help with the formatting. I can supply the formatting I prefer, if you'd like
If you need some help with anything, just holler
Any Peer Reviewers have an opinion on this one?

Thanks
For the GuideML did you mean so that the space after each step# would be larger.

Well the only thing I'm doing now is correcting any mistakes anyone found. I guess that counts as working on it.

One thing you need to change is;
>Just remember that after you get the hang of drawing the Cartoony Bird, which I usually call The Bird of History because I first discovered it in my history class, you can change its size, make it hold objects like books, and create new expressions by creating your own eyebrow design!!!<
to something like
Just remember that after you get the hang of drawing the Cartoony Bird, which is called The Bird of History because it was first discovered in a < might give grade level > history class, you can change its size, make it hold objects like books, and create new expressions by creating your own eyebrow design!!!

Maybe i am a complete dunce but my attempt looks nothing like a bird cartoon or otherwise, what do you mean by fishhook (never been fishing) would it be possible to show a diagram or link to one. nice thought for an entry though.
ps misspelling of the word "different"

I just tried to draw it...
I've got two overlapping circles, with a blob beneath them. Under that are two lines = like that with upside down v's at the end of them. Then I've got a spork coming out of one of the overlapping circles, and eyebrows over the circles.
I think I went wrong somewhere Also, I can't erase the bit you told me to because I drew it in biro - you didn't say I needed to use pencil...

Hmm...
I cannot think of a way to work around the first person referances...any suggestions?
I'll try and see if there is a picture of a fish hook on H2G2, I guess I could also add in anouther discription for it...something like:
"the letter 'U' with the left portion reaching up only halfway to the point where it normally does"
Is that more discriptive...?
Now that I read over it the spork referance might not have been the best [I was going more for the end of the smiley one with the rounded edges] Basically what it is is three tail feathers that merge at the midway point of the feather...

Remove the brackets? - there's one too many anyway!
On a piece of paper of your choice, although if this is your first Cartoony Bird drawing you will find it easier to use wide-rule paper, choose a spot to begin your drawing, make sure it is somewhere around the middle so that you have room.
pincil > pencil
point that the two > point where the two
line’s with > line's width
I suggest for your first bird > For your first bird
eyes, for your first bird I recommend using slight arcs but you could use any sort of line. > >
eyes. Any sort of line can be used, but a slight arc is the easiest to draw on your first attempt.
in my 11 grade > in an eleventh grade

Some spelling and grammar:
gotten ==> got
This is about a line high ==> This should be about one line high
strait ==> straight
father ==> farther
should be a little bit more than a line and a half in length length, ==> should be just over one and a half lines in length (you’ve repeated the word 'length')
Also, should the second circle be the same size as the first? I know it's not much of a point, but it makes understanding the instructions easier.
It is easy to remove first person references:
I suggest for your first bird you put it in the center of each circle, after that it’s up to you.
==> For your first bird you should put the dots in the centre of each circle, after that it’s up to you
for your first bird I recommend using slight arcs but you could use any sort of line.
==> for your first bird you should consider using slight arcs, but you could use any sort of line.
{of your choice, although if this is your first Cartoony Bird drawing I suggest wide-rule paper}
==> {of your choice, although if this is your first Cartoony Bird drawing you may find it easier to use wide-rule paper}
Please also consider changing Cartoony Bird to Cartoon Bird – after all, Cartoony Bird isn’t the official name for your cartoon bird is it?
Keep working on this... I for one haven't got a clue how to draw a bird without such detailed instructions...
