h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've popped by as one of the assistant community editors here, aka <./>aces</.>. We greet newbies such as yourself and ease your settling-in process(or at least that's our aim). Now, to familiarize yourself with everything carefully review my colleague Feisor's list of Hints and Links at A719840. Feisor was quite thorough when compiling that, so it contains numerous points of interest and features such as the assortment of <./>smileys</.> and a link to the <./>GamesRoom</.> (to name just two of many). Our weekly newspaper-further down the page-has a links page as well. Essentially a list within a list...and quite a list it is too!

Examining that closely will reveal items such as the Researchers' Map at A5076614, the Regional Researchers' Groups at A660313, the worms Club at A745544 and the All-New Researchers' Birthday Page at A293195 (again, to name just a few). Oh and a couple more you might enjoy are the Personal Space Workshop at A1123354 and though it's not on the list azahar's friends photo gallery - yes, photos! Azahar herself gives a bit of background as well as the necessary details at A20917604. Ooh right, about the Workshop - that can be used to design your page, likely as a supplement to Spicing Up Your User Page(which Feisor refers you to).
