Gruesome #2 is in her room doing something she thinks I shouldn't know about (I'm going to check in a minute)
Gruesome #1 is sitting on the sofa waiting for to go back to work so that we can go in her room and tidy it up and girly it up a bit (it's going to involve lots of pink, glittery, fluffy stuff, and is soooo not my cup of tea that I really would rather clean the bathroom)

My son is playing in the spare bedroom. After I tidied it yesterday morning from my grandson staying over on Friday, he has tied it all up, making it look like a room from "Mission Impossible"
*ignores noise*
*is grateful the 9-day school holiday ends today*

My son's had rather a cool weekend - last night his band gave their first live gig , I came along to support (and buy him a beer
), and we got a kebab and chips on thew way home and had a good chat about "stuff"
Today he was away all day at a rugby tournament. We discussed going to the Mercury Rev gig tonight, but he's knackered, bless 'im.
Daughter drew up an Excel scoresheet for possible houses we might be buying. Then she removed the nail varnish from her toes, and has now brought her wierd big toe nail to show me
