BOOKS, BOOKS, and more BOOKS...
THIS THREAD IS DEDICATED TO THE NICE PEOPLE OF THE R2 MESSAGE BOARD.
When the R2 message board closes, this one begins...
It is 31 minutes past the hour of 1 am - and all is well.
All sorted 80s and ready to roll...

I'm not on the R2 message board but am currently reading Hammer Of The Gods, an unauthorised Led Zerppelin biog (which apparently Led Zep love as it's great for their cred!)
BTW: The Real Frank Zappa Book is marvellous.
Right, as you were.

Hi Adrian,
Well done!! And as the board doesn't open for another half hour, here I am letting you know that I am now pg 351 of The Historian. It's sooo lovely and gothic...
Roymondo, there is a musical books thread on the R2 Music Club Board from a couple of weeks ago, loads of good ideas for music reads!!
As ever, as I have no life I'll be around and about as Cole Porter once said Night and Day, Day and Night!!!
I'll let everyone know it's here too, k!! x

Well done LBP!!! Good stuff!! Not sure when Adrian is actually back here because his last night shift this week finished last night, but I'm sure he'll check in - and it is nice to have a study that doesn't have a combination lock on it before 10 on a weekend, and after 10 any day!!

Thanks Tabitca
Hope you don't mind us turning up and using the out of hours facility -
R2's hours are a bit restrictive - feel free to come in and have a chat about books or anything really - we tend to ramble a bit.

thank you I may do that when I can't sleep. We are a friendly bunch in the main here. You'll get to know your way around. One of the guys here (Peet)runs a board for archers fans ,so I don't think anyone will mind you having your own thing. You will probably get curious passers by .

Long as they are readers and can recommend good books to us that will be great - although my bookshelf just cant hold anymore and my bank balance is very depleted from all the conversations we have had previously lol

Yeah, I tend to spend a lot of time "talking" about reading these days, and talking about listening to music
