h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

hi all. Welcome to Dungeons and Dragons.
this ia a game i have read about a number of times in various books.
To start simply design a character in your head. I am the games master and will be your trainer. I will tell you the senarois and help you work them out. This requires teamwork and trust.
SPELLS
As you progress through D&D you will get more spells. These spells can be used in combat with our enemy or training with me. You start off with 3 spells;
1) a simple protection spell casting words (in the old tongue): Gazfous
2) a simple attack spell casting words (in the same tongue): Lohneah
3) a simple weakening spell casting words (you know by now what tongue): azmours
There are many more complicated spells as well as group spells.

A CHARACTER
to take part you must have a character. To help you design yours i will do mine:


Personality: A goth, myseterious, clever, trustworthy and holds hounor high.
Clothes: A spell master top and skirt. With an old black traveling cloak.
History: unkown

by the way could you please include spieces (i forgot eg. human, elf(can see in dark), or any ohter speices you want!

Question:

I've always wanted to know what the goal for dungeons and dragons actually was or was it one of these 'goes on forever' type games???

well the object is to complete the quest type thing that the game master has thought up. (i have already written one hehe) and then someone else can think up another. does that awnser your question?

So this speices thing, does it have to be a humanoid lifeform or can the player be algae or a sentient squirrel or something?

i'll do some rules for speices:
1)only lifefroms that can be seen without a magnifiny glass
2) must be at least 1 metre tall
