I see that many researchers have put pictures and other graphics on their home
pages and articles, but I don't see how to do this. Can someone explain this?

Presumably the only way to do it (for those of us who are Digital Village employees) is to use the "<img src= etc." HTML tag to link to an image somewhere else on the web.
