Oh, my... we're going to be drownin' in smilies by crimbo. We'll be coughin' up cute.
(Although, I still don't expect anyone will be choking on a smiley. F20473?thread=310776 )

Nope... Dolphins have been often reported to kill sharks by punching them with their noses. (Ok... I don't think they eat them... ).

I'm not sure who's updating that particular help page, maybe it's Nighthoover.
Flippancy aside, I am sure it will be updated soon.

Can someone tell me why the dates are not in order?

In an advent calender, it is normal to have the numbers jumbled up, so you have a small gmae of 'hunt today's date' each morning.
On mine, the windows are also placed in different bits of the picture rather than in straight lines, so make it even more haphazard.
I'm afriad I don't know why that's the case though.

I used to enjoy Advent calendars when I was a kid. They were always arranged like calendars, with "1" at the top left, and "31" at the bottom right, with the other dates proceeding in a proper sequence.
The question is, did things change since then, or this a geographical anomaly? Are American Advent calendars still arranged the way I remember? If so, then maybe the U.K. has traditionally gone with a jumbled arrangement. Does anyone know the history of this?

Paul: I think UK advent calendars have long been jumbled up dates. They also only go up to 24, rather than 31.
