Final Fantasy I-VI

I've been here a week and am working on improving the Guide's coverage of the Final Fantasy games. I've made a main page covering the series at A2591129, a review of the later games at A2589005, and have started work on a specific guide to FF IX, at A2593262. After I finish that, I'm also going to be producing similar pages for FF VIII, X and X-2, and RFJS_ has volunteered to do FF VII. However, I thought it would be nice if we could get pages done (preferably in a similar sort of layout) for the earlier games, but I can't do them for the simple reason of having never played them. So if there's anyone out there who has and would be willing to make some, that would be great!
N.B. The Edited guide already includes entries about the original FF - A665228 - and FF VII (which RFJS_ is looking to possibly update) - A412543 -, but these are both sparse compared to the detail I intend to put in mine - no offense to the authors, but I merely feel it would fit better if there was some more.

Those Entries having been around a while; according to some of the more experienced Researchers, standards have risen vastly since the Guide was started, and some of the older Edited Entries wouldn't get through Peer Review now.

From this it looks as though updates/rewrites of the Entries in question will be okay, as long as they get through the relevant processes. I didn't think the FF1 Entry was really lacking; it was the FF7 Entry and the series Entry that really seemed to lack detail. I wouldn't worry too much about FF1.
The FF7 rewrite Entry is under construction, but revision is eating up my time until the beginning of June, so I'm afraid I probably shan't have a version close enough to completion to be worth uploading until then. I may find some time when 'relaxing' in between revision sessions, but I can't guarantee anything (plus I still want to have a 'Noir' Entry ready for upload in mid-to-late May, as stated in my Journal).

I've come upon Gnomon's summary of the Rewrite procedure on Post 13 of F48874?thread=418476&latest=1

I'd forgotten about this thread... I'd better note the current state of affairs:
LQ's Entry on the series is now in the Edited Guide.
We've given up on trying to get Entries on each specific FF game into the EG, but we're still working on them for the unedited Guide.
There are now detailed Entries on FF6 and FF7. Entries on FF8 -- with a separate Entry on Triple Triad -- and FF9 are being worked on at present.

Well, I haven't updated my entries (the triple triad one and the FF9 one) for quite a while...
