I vote for this because as it happened I left the PC on at home while having visitors, and several sat down to read what was on the h2g2 Front Page and enjoyed it immensely, so it had a wider non h2g2 readership who appreciated it.

Bowdlerised is right. It's sadly less than the original, but it's still a whole lot bigger than the misguided fools who censored it.
(Alice and Gertrude deserves a nod too. Also great writing, and would have won in another month).
