"Skinny Malinky longlegs
Big banana feet
Went to the pictures and couldn't find a seat"

Is that the one?

It's a bit of a nonsense poem really, I wouldn't try to find any deep meaning in it!

We made heart shaped bag as "craft"
I asked them to write down a phrase I smiley - love "someone" and one smiley - chick told me that he wanted to write "mum" but he didn't know the word, so I write it on the white board "mum" Afterwords, my friend who speaks American English told me "Taeko the spelling is wrong it's 'mOm' not 'mUm'" ...Gosh... I checked it in dictionary and I told her that was English not American English... But originally they(Japanese) prefer learn Amreican English to English smiley - grr aarrrgggghghhhh I get really confused smiley - rofl
Also we had some observers this Wednesday. They had tester course, then observed one of my class.... REALLY TIRED.
And I haven't spoken English to English.... aaarrrggggghhhhh
I'm really worried that my English speaking/listeing abilities is going down (will be gone) sooner or later smiley - wah
I have to study English/(French, too) harder smiley - laughsmiley - geek

Meg

did you mean a limmerick? (I don't know if I've spelt it correctly). It is a funny sort of rhyme i.e.

There was a young man who said why?
Can't I look in my ear with my eye?
If I put my mind to it,
I'm sure I can do it,
You never can tell 'till you try!

They are usually silly and appeal to my sense of humour.

Actually I don't know this song's origin, so that I posted this journal.
And I've got very interesting infomation from you.
Especially you smiley - winkeye as most of you mentioned only about Scotish or Ireish ones.
So, I can have a note yours smiley - laugh
I've got this song from one American children CD called Wee Sings that includes lots of nursery rhymes (Mather Goose, in American English), so lot of rhymes are different from ones that I know.
And I guessed that this song is of American, but it seems that it isn't smiley - laugh (I mean original)
Such a Great Fun to know those kind of interesting stuff smiley - biggrin
I really thank you for all of your post smiley - biggrin
