Have you any favourite pieces of grafitti you' would care to share?
I have two that made me laugh
1. In the mens toilets inafactory in North West UK,
"City are Magic!"
underneath, in a different hand
" Watch them disappear from the First Division!"
2 Approaching London Euston Station, train snaking past high walls, stement in broad strokes " God is Dead" - about a half mile futher on, in beautiful gothic script "Oh no I'm Not"
Well they amused me!

On a desk in a university lecture theatre, someone had drawn on 'remote control' buttons with the following labels:
"Lecturer Fast Forward"
"Lecturer Rewind"
"Lecturer Self Destruct"

My favourite in uni was:
*My mother made me a homosexual*
In a different handwriting below it was:
*If I got her the wool, would she make me one too?*

Not sure of the exact quote but it was painted onto a religious poster:
"What will Liverpool do when Jesus returns"
Grafitti:
"Move St John to inside left"

Not sure if this is either clever or amusing to most of you - but it amused me.
Seen on a loo wall in Ma Cam's, Aberdeen, c 1974
Whale
Oil
Beef
Hooked
It had me flummoxed for several weeks - until someone helpfully added "Say in an Irish accent".

This one's not funny but it has always been a favourite ...
On the wall of a shopping mall - right next to the brand name of the mall ...
"Consume, be silent and die."

There's some weird ones in Edinburgh. At the bottom of Leith Walk is one that says "He sent her chocolates, but she wanted flowers instead". Very surreal. Further up Leith Walk is this one http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r166/swl_album/IMAGE_027.jpg
Why did I feel the urge to look over my shoulder when I saw it?

On the A 9 in Scotland there was a sign which said 'Speed Kills'.
Someone had written underneath 'Not until you hit something'.

I've seen a picture of a mostly demolished house in New Orleans with *Katrina! You bitch!* spray painted on the siding.

The only graffiti I saw in Edinburgh was "END LONDON RULE!"
Except for one that had been subtly altered to "EAST LONDON RULES!" That made me laugh.

In a Uni washroom:
'If all the world was drowning
And I knew that soon I'd die
I'd climb aboard my history book
Because it is so dry.'
