Round and round she goes, where she stops nobody knows!

This song has been stuck in my head all day. I've been singing or humming it seemingly foever. It just goes round and round and round....
Pay no attention to this journal entry. I'm just attempting a new cure for a song stuck in the head. Hopefully typing it out will make it be quiet.
The minstrel boy to the war has gone
In the ranks of death you'll find him
His fathers sword he hath girded on
And his wild harp slung behind him
"Land of song" said the warrior bard
Though all the world betrays thee
One sword, at least, thy rights shall gaurd
One faithful harp to praise thee.
The Wounded. Episode 12.
It seems to have worked...... I now have something compltely different stuck in my head.

Intreresting song.
I've always found that it's the really annoying songs that get stuck in your head and you have to stop thinking about it to get rid of it. You can't try to replace it coz that just makes it even more stuck.

interesting... i usually find that its a song that i like, but only a few words or one or two lines gets stuck... that annoys me to no end. then i want to learn the rest of the song but i dont know what the title is or something like that. i wish i knew what this song was called. it just happened to be on tv and there was something oddly compelling in the tune.

I hate it when a song you know gets stuck in there but you cant work out what it is. That is irritating.

now theres a good question.... let me see.... it was difficult to decide what to put on it because i listen to it in the car with my dad....so i tried to put on things that he would like as well.
judy and the dream of horses - belle and sebastian
half a person - the smiths
zombie - the cranberries
last goodbye - jeff buckley
bigmouth strikes again - the smiths
shes so high above me - everclear
haunted when the minutes drag - love and rockets
jerimiah was a bull frog - ???
holiday on the moon - love and rockets
lullaby - the cure
everybody wants to go to heaven - love and rockets
pretty girls make graves - the smiths
sylvia - eurythmics
life in laralay - love and rockets
you might think i'm crazy - the cars
teardrop - portishead
rain bird - love and rockets
just what i needed - the cars
there we are...... thats all the songs on the cd, in order too
obviously some of it my dad wont like but i've tried to make up for that by putting on some songs that he will like..... otherwise he'll probably change the cd on me.
does anyone know who sings jerimiah was a bull frog?

Wow, there are some really cool songs on there. Most of them I've never heard and some of them I seem to remember reccomending. But well done.

best way to do it. Have to listen to a song a few times to .learn it. Ansd only when there's a line you *really* can't get do you look it up.
