70% how you look, 20% how you sound, 10% what you say!
Round and round she goes, where she stops nobody knows!
NPY Posted Feb 5, 2006
Really? Would've thought how you sound and what you sing about counts more, esp when you're on radio or something.

well on radio i suppose thats true.......
i think that quote was originally intended for politicians. but it is very true. and i dont know that people care about what you say in your song, not if its on the radio... it seems that most people just cluelessly hum along without listening to the words...

there's probably some truth in that, though would some of the great songs have been so huge of the words had been different? Would Bohemian Rhapsody been so popular if it had made sense?

I think Bohemian Rhapsody is a bad example as it's perfect as is. Choose another nonsense song.
And yes, the quote was from Eddie Izzard about how the Americans sing the national anthem.

oh! yes! that is funny. i was listening to it in the cafeteria yesterday afternoon and i had to stop myself from laughing out loud. i was sitting by myself, and would have looked insane.
hes so right though, its true..... if you just look and sound good, and keep confirming and denying things it's all alright somehow.

Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Mar 1, 2006
Logically if there is any Macbeth then there is Shakespeare as well. But I don't remember any Macbeth, where was it?
