I woke up this morning in a total panic.

Why hadn't the alam gone off?

I looked at the time and was really concerned!

It was 7:40...

How come???

I had a train to catch at 9:30.

Kettle on. Quick wash and shave. Throw stuff in the bag. on the

All dressed and ready. Time? 8:05. Time to try and calm down.

Looked at the clock...

Saw the date! 11/07/08...

Friday!!

Friday... A work day.

Not Saturday... Not the Hull Meet. Still another 25 hours to go.

Oh MMF! SS and I spent Monday and Tuesday in Bridlington. Tuesday, we went on a coastal cruise around Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head; to look at the puffins/arctic terns/gannets/etc/etc.

Apparently, it is traditional on these cruises for someone to provide music (not a member of the crew)and we were 'treated' (I use the word advisedly) to a bloke playing a fiddle - Stephane Grappelli he weren't - I remember listening to the link you provided last week and thought - this grinding noise is neither a violin nor a fiddle - it was horrendous. The guy actually had the gall to be selling CDs at £10 a throw after the event. I gave him a pound when he came round with his hat - for effort; and in the hope that he would go away.

If you arrive without your's next time around, I shall kneck you.
